Every time I buy a kurta,I either pair it with a legging or a jean,but this time, I went a little outside my comfort zone and paired it with a long skirt.This skirt is from a boutique named oxolloxo and the kurta is from a brand named bus stop.I don't remember the pricing of these two pieces as I had purchased it really long time back.The skirt has a black and white check like scratchy pattern in it and is quite long, round and has a straight fitting.
The kurta has a lot of embroidery on it, that is mostly threaded.The fact that the embroidery is colorfully threaded on a black transparent material makes it stand out.Since the kurta is transparent,you might consider wearing a black slip inside it or else if you want to be bold, you can go ahead and wear a lacy bra inside it.
